Shouldnt be too bad to strip-bare bones should do it-just be careful with your machine.Do a small area to test. I think you will be fine just make sure you dry it out-color seal,and use a good water based sealer to coat.We recently did one like that and used glaze and seal water based laquer finish-applied with lambs wool. easy to work with and no smelly shit.<br>
