Paul,
I did few of them. Definitely it is a job for turbo. One thing that you have to get in contract is contingency to regrout a lots of tiles because some grout got dissolved and some will come off during cleaning. How much, don't know until start cleaning. Plan to use ladder in deep end. Detail work is usually around draining gutters because of all the body oils will be deposited there.. The rest of the pool gets dirty during water draining. Usually it take 3 guys about 6-7 hours to clean just pool.

Price wise, we charged $1350 for the 25yard pool and 5 ft decking around. Rest of the tile goes by flat sq ft rate..

Check if there are showers or lockers to be cleaned and for all problems associated with them (missing grout, caulk etc) be sure that you have more than enough hose length to reach everywhere.

Emphasize that with your cleaning method you will get the dirt out vs getting the drain plugged with pressure washing.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Subject: [sccpartners] Pool Restoration Job

Good Morning Partners
Got a call from a General Contractor this morning requesting a bid for a pool restoration job at a local college. (needs numbers by tomorrow am). Work involves cleaning of tile and grout INSIDE the pool as well as several thousand square feet surrounding (decking as well as attached rooms and spaces (interior & exterior.) I have done ALOT of tile and grout cleaning but never done cleaning on this scale...
Is this a turbo job or a pressure washer job ?
Oh yeah....I forgot to mention, my brother is the Vice President of the university. (not sure if this would make my life easy or crazy).
Thoughts ???????
