Yes I have done several of these..Its not too difficult just depends on the how bad the spalling is. I would grind it to open it up and take it to about a 400. Than fill it with a polyester and than rehone with the 120.  I would do a test and see how it comes out.

Have you ever tried to color grout with those small little applicators or a brush? Most of the time the grout coloring looks like you painted it on. Next time try the following:  Go to an art or craft store and buy an artist air brush. With a little practice you can color grout faster and it will look natural. I'll be discussing this procedure in detail in the upcoming advanced seminar.
