On a large floor after running diamonds i try to wait a day or two if possible. On small bathrooms floors i don't wait.
I do, however, warn people with cremamarfil floors that moisture may come back up to the surface after we are finished due to that stone's moisture retention. If it becomes noticeable to wait a couple of weeks for it to release all of it. I then charge a nominal fee to crystallize those area with steel wool to remove the haze. I put this in writing up-front.
