we strip a good amount of honed black ab counter tops with color enhancer on them.
Using makitas, hogs hair pads and honing powder we can usually take off most of the enhancer and then chemically remove the rest if need be. If you can sell the job do some testing with with your favorite honing powders and bring a few different strippers like ultra strip or bare bones,mira-strip made by miracle which is pretty good and cure and seal remover from prosoco which works great(very expensive).
Use the honing powder(150/180G) with a chemical and see what you get -adjust from there.
You can try reapplying more sealer though in my experiences with black absolute the stone is so smooth and dense that more of the same seems to makes a bigger mess. I would remove the old crap and reapply correctly using a very thin product.Working in manageable areas laying out small amounts and removing all the residue quickly.

If it hasn't fully cured you can try mineral spirits. That stuff does dry
hard however. I know a guy who buffs it in to honed limestone to het a
higher polish and it does not mar once completed!

Paul,

First try using an alkaline based stripper. This may cut through the
residue. If that does not work you can try to apply more sealer and  scrub
off the residue last resort use some honing powders along with your alkaline
based stripper. Or Miracle Seal makes a sealer stripper for removing coating
and seals. The product is expensive around $45 to $50 per gallon ..

Have a prospect who had floor color enhanced with Miracle. Lots and lots of
residue remains. Feels like walking I'n the movie theater. Can this be
removed with 280 grit honing powder ??
