Roger,

I do a restaurant on a regular basis with marmoleum.  1st, marmoleum is rather delicate. We use a neutral cleaner to get off the old finish. I use a green or black pad to agitate.   The owner's prefer a matte finish and I have located a company that sells a semi gloss finish.  Most finishes for this type of floor are glossy, as are those used to finish VCT.  if you have any questions, call me 512 632 1621.

I received the e-mail below from one of my referral sources. Can I help them out with their problem?
Thanks,

Hello Roger

Thank you in advance for your help.

As i said earlier. We installed a forbo 13x13 marmolean flooring.( which doest require a finish)

The maintenance crew , after we completed it installed a high gloss finish. It looked awful.

They then stripped the wax and it seems theyremoved coloring from the floor. It has a slight chaulk surface to it.  I did apply 2 coats of a carefree matte finish sealeron a test area. It brought back the color. But there is still a low luster gloss on the tile.

Is it possible to scuff the gloss and bring the finish closer to the factory finish.

Please let me know, and thanks again for your help.
