Mike , have you tried Stonelok from Richard James Chemical, before you do a sample you will need to remove all the impregnators from the stone or the Stone Loc will not bond. I would recommend you contact Richard James Chemical to see what they recommend.

Subject: [sccpartners] sandstone densifying
Has anyone tried a sodium silicate densifier on sandstone. Looking for something to fill the pores on interior sandstone which is being used in kitchens, will not stay clean even after impregnated. I don’t want to have to coat it.
