On the veneer it would depend upon the thickness of the veneer. If the stone is etching it should be able to be refinished. If the stone is etched around the fixtures you will probably need to have the fixture removed prior to honing. if possible send some pictures. this makes the evaluation much easier.

Can a black marble veneer top on a hooker sink be polished? They used a lot of acid based cleaners and etched the entire top. Thanks for your help.
