Jason,

We will use a pump sprayer and flat microfiber mop. Requires two men. Moving left to right for example covering roughly five foot strips as you go. Easy to cover big areas.

Subject: [sccpartners] Sealing Large Areas
To: "Restoration and Maintenance" <sccpartners@stoneandtilepros.com>

Hi Guys,

I was hoping for some feedback on how others efficiently and effectively
seal(impregnate) large square footage stone. On small areas, I always go
hands and knees.

On large areas, I always worry it's not doing as good a job.

Do you use white pads, bonnets? Do you wait till sealer dries or do you buff
while wet? SCC solvent ot H20?

Thanks!

Jason

I used the uv cure acrylate epoxy. It is semi rigid. Squeezed it onto the
edge chip, then wrapped it with clear tape on the side and arris, rubbed it
with a popsicle stick on the side and along the arris, lengthwise, then put
in the sun for 15 seconds, pulled the tape and shaved off the excess on the
top of the tile. So I got 3 sides flat. Looks good and clear. Did 120 +
chips in 5 hours.
