Thanks Fred. Wouldn't the periodic cleaning (if using water) reactivate the efflourescence, bringing it to the surface? Would it be worth poulticing the surface to see what I might be able to draw out? This is interior granite and is not on grade, but I think with the flood level rains we have been having the granite has become moist from the humidity and then the salts appear after the floor dries out.
DO NOT and I Repeat DO NOT use any sealer. You need to make sure all the moisture is gone and all the salts have deposited. After that if there is any water entering the installation than I would not seal it. I would recommend periodic cleaning only.--
