That is Sandstone. You can clean ity with anything, bleach 50% if it has biological staining, or acid if it has mineral staining. It will not polish with any compounds, but you may get a sheen by honing. Could try a sodium silicate densifier to get a better finish.

Yesterday I went to look at a stone floor and I don't know what it is? Can any of you identify this stone?Also, the owner wants to polish the stone. Will it take a polish? Please see attached photos.
