Attached is what i did recently with oxidation on a marble  fireplace that was still in pieces out of the crate.

Just with iron out

Just use Iron Out from home depot in a poultice, you will most likely have to repolish the stone. If it's a floor and the stains are through and through nothing may help but riping them out.
