Stuart, If it needs sanding, I recently sanded a large (3000sf) patio of sand stone and I used flexable metal bond genisis type disc up to 600 and got some good clarity and the diamonds didn't wear much at all. maybe after that you could finish with a twister to finish polish.

Yesterday I went to look at a stone floor and I don't know what it is? Can any of you identify this stone?Also, the owner wants to polish the stone. Will it take a polish? Please see attached photos.
