Zev:
First, I would strip and clean the floor of the wax and dirt.
Second, hone one of the worst areas with a 400 resin to see if there are
any of the old scratches left, if no old scratches remain I would do a 400 hone
and a polishing with a good 5 x powder.
The inlays shouldn’t be a problem to go over with
your process.
On the other hand if the 400’s where not aggressive
enough go to the 220’s and start upwards 400 and polish.
Good luck

Hi Guys I went to look at a old apartmaent building that had
terrazo floors (a lot of wax and dirt buildup). They want me to restore the
floor. What would the best process be? (What grit would you start and what
powders should I use) Will the metal inserts be a problem.
