I would wait at least 48 hours for the grout to cure. You can try overnight but that might not be enough time for the grout to harden
Thanks fred we will go different route.Speaking of grouting before flattening the floor, do you think waiting overnight be enough for the grout to properly cure and it will not be pulled up by diamonds or vacuum?AdamThat is a concern,,, most grout is going to require a minimum of 1/8 inch to bond properly..You can try using a 100% a latex additive for added bonding strength. I would suggest you try this is a small test area first. Otherwise you will have to remove some of the grout to get a good bond.
