looks like a tennessee marble to me, they were used in alot of antiques about 100 years ago..normally we see the pink , it has a white vein in it as well

Hard to tell from the pic.. It could be a grey tennessee stone..but not 100% sure.  Tell her the stone is older than 100 years old..more like 10 million years old lol
