You are right, you can only see them when crawling around on the floor.

We usually use grout and super latex from latticrete and after we fill we come back at least two days later if possible. At that point the fill seems to be much harder so I like to think we leave more in the holes. But you may always have some fill come out so you can just refill at the end of the job but like John said clean off the residue. You have to tell customers that there will be some pinholes at the end of the job. Most of those holes probably cant be seen from a standing position in most cases. Just walk your customer thru the job and if they question any pinholes fill em . Our customers in most cases don't see what we do and only occasionally do we have them crawling around the floor on their bellies.I bet your floor came out great.

Now that I have removed the traverfill and you have a lot of pin holes. Do you go back and fill them again or are there is not much one can do about the pin holes. Under some pin holes are larger holes.

You might find a 120 to be too aggressive and actually pull fills from some of the holes. The powder traverfil is very soft and the 220 and in some cases I have removed with a 400
It depends upon the amount of the overfill
