The cuts are shallow decorative not control joints. Is it ok to densify after he grouts. (he's now going with regular grout) Thanks

It is generally best to put a flexible polyurea in control joints before or during grinding. It can be done after though with a sharp blade while the material is still soft.

Steve  the epoxy grout will crack because the cuts will be the control joint. I would tell him to use sikaflex, or a sandable urethane.

Hey all, I just ground a small concrete slab and wanted to know if I can densify before the contractor grouts the cut lines or after. Also what do you think about him using epoxy grout for concete?

Thank you

Stephen
