I prefer to remove oil stains by using a mixture of DE powder and Mineral Spirits. Mix into a paste like any other poultice allow to set at least 24 to 36 hours . the Mineral  Spirits will penetrate into the stone and will break down the oil. The as it dries it will pull the oil into the DE Powder. If it’s a bad oil stain or has penetrated deep you may need to poultice 2 or 3 times.
