Don :
I would try first a 3 inch by 3 inch politic with acetone just
to see if it’s an oil based stain, left from the previous politic. Maybe
do the politic in the area a couple of separate times, then give it a few
days to dry out. Go from that point.

Hi all and Happy New Year:
Customer states that he put a warm pan on the granite which
left a ring. He then followed that with some stain remover/poultice from Home
Depot called Stone Specific that promises to remove all stains from all stone
(gotta love it). I think that the poultice has not thoroughly evaporated
yet. Pic is attached. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks
