I agree that a swing machine fitted with 3-4 (reversible) frankfurt brushes (shoes mounted on a weighted drive plate)  might be better.

I do this a lot and use a klindex kroma with a k800 and 100grit metal to flatten. 

I use the klindex brushes up to 240 but the the Hercules may be a bit overkill. 4 brushes on a swing machine do a great job. I have followed that up with both topical and regular sealers. When they want topical I use the sparks products and if they want a more natural look, I use sbs sealer from Aldon. Hope this helps.
