Please no crying “heretic” because of the obvious. I did a sample with 20% solution, then brushed afterwards, looked fantastic. I KNOW this is not the way but NOTHING has been able to get the floor as clean…not even close. There is a resident that did his own unit, and everyone is wondering how I could not (as a professional) get the same results. After MANY discussions on finish I told them I can give them both effects, but it would be a lot more work (you have to turbo the floor again to remove the residue from the brushing) So, the floor becomes very clean, with a nice brush honed finish. Tricky part is EVENLY applying the acid solution, so there are no unevenness. This means, it cannot flow, cannot be walked on or scrubbed in. Application of the solution has to be similar to applying concrete acid-stain. Nothing else has worked and there is no ammonium bi-flouride (Klenztone) available here.
