I remember a company in the last ninety’s
that came out with such a system, it was called the Awesome 2000 (but spelled differently)
, it was a combination of a polisher and four very special diamonds, but in the
midst of negotiations I heard it was completely bought out and I never heard
from them again.
What is funny though is that in my younger
moments , with my oldest tradesman, we use to use the stones which on marble we
only passed 4 grits to get a shine, we are talking the old old Genovese system
with the 3 inch thick stones. Funny how we evolved to a 7- 10 step system.
Keep me posted Tony, and I’ll do the same.
