never worked on one myself, but from what i have heard you are suppossed to seal it with mineral oil. Some designers love them for some reason

Subject: [sccpartners] Soapstone

I have never had the opportunity to work with soapstone. I have an appointment to do an estimate. The client thinks it is a soap stone counter. It has some etching.

How do you identify soapstone?  How do you refinish it? Any help would be appreciated.
