Lately, I have been getting a influx of calls for granite chip repairs. In the past, I have used the Plexus repair kit to perform chip repairs on the surfaces of stone. After several attempts of repairing chips on the edges of granite with minimal success, I felt it was time to come to the well for help! Performing repairs on the edges of stone with the Plexus Kit for me seems to be somewhat tricky. It was mentioned to me that CA glue works really well but does require some practice. I did purchase a CA glue kit from Grand Quartz the other day but have yet to try it.
So partners I am asking you all what has been your experiences with these type of repairs. Do you all perform these repairs, what repair methods/ techniques do you use, how do you all charge for them. Is it by a flat rate service fee, or do you all charge per chip or what. I know this will vary by market, however any info or advise on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
