True scuffs on black granite should be able to be removed using dark tin oxide or a policing powder like 5x or MB 12. Shouldn't have to hone unless they are scratches. Test the scuffs onsite with the SCC compound which should do the trick.
Honing and polishing black granite takes some practice.
Hey all,We were asked by an installer to fix some "scuff" marks on a few newly installed absolute black granite tiles. We picked up a sample to test and after honing and using the dark granite polish powder from scc the granite is not as black as the factory finish. Can we get that deep black color back? If so, what do you all use?
