Freddie, my first try on that product was on shower glass, for which the sales guy wrote "soap scum". Product did nothing. I then assumed it was mineral deposits and used some CLR. Again nothing. I was at a loss.

As happens to us frequently, the customer was so ecstatic over the completely removed efflorescence on the shower floor, and their tile floor that looked better than they ever remembered, that they just couldn't care about the glass.

But I sure wish I knew what it was, and how to remove it.

Freddie,
If you tried the scc soap scum remover and it didnt work there is a good chance it isnt soap scum . It looks more like a mineral deposit to me.
If there isnt anything inside or outside of the shower stall that is acid sensitive then use a light acid such as phosphoric. It will most likely solve your problem. Just make sure you wont damage anything and I am pretty sure you will remove it. I think scc makes an acid cleaner as well.
Happy easter to you too!

Hi happy Easter,

I tried to remove the soap scum off the slate with the soap scum removal from SCC and still will not come out. Any advice on product to use?
