It is recommended that all stone that is pores should be sealed
to protect it from the elements. Sealing t=with an Impregnating / penetrating sealer
is only going to give added protection if something is spilled the customer had
a longer period of time to clean up before the spill starts to penetrate. There
are certain stone I do not givr my customer an option, when I bid the job I include
sealing. At the time of the sale I tell my customer why I’m sealing and have
never had a customer say NO to the sealing. The cost of sealing is small
compared to the protection.
