The dark stain....I would suggest trying HG Oil and Stain remover poultice.  You can find it at <a target="_top" href="http://www.stonecarecentral.com">www.stonecarecentral.com</a>.  The wax in candles has oils in it and HG usually works great.  You have to apply it, use plastic wrap and tape it on...don&#39;t peek for 24 hours.  See if that helps.  <div>

Some candles have a scented thing in them that can cause discoloration. I had one of those oil defusers in my bathroom and it leaked...turned a spot in my jacuzzi tub purple!
