I would recommend using HCT &amp; HCT Finishing rinse, followed by OH100 Consolidation Treatment from Prosoco. I have used this product on Limestone and Travertine near the ocean that was having a similar problem from salt exposure. That treatment, when done properly will solve the problem, but you will also need to seal afterward with a good salt/chloride repellant. <br>

I would suspect deicing salts or soil salts..To be honest I wouldnt apply anything, just let it deteriorate.
