Electric Radiant Heat Mat installation under natural stone. Does any body have anything to tell me on this subject?
Recently we had few calls requesting us to repair cracks that appeared on heated natural stone floors, and on another call a client that actually requested us to install a white carrara over a heating mat inside of a Master Bathroom.
I like to hear from your past experiences of installations with natural stone over heating mats. I know exactly how it should be install but my question is more about resilience after the installation is complete. As you all know homeowners most time lack of sealing their natural materials leaving the surface expose to water penetration that can weaken the installation after some time and end up becoming a issue that will for sure be blamed on the installer. Please share your thoughts.
