If I am doing a honed floor I can get them out with a red pad, if they don't come out with just the red pad add a little weight

These marks are common with high grits. They are basically  resin smears..They should come out with powders.

Finish it with a spinergy diamond impregnated pad. Caution...those grits are different than the resins.

I'm working on a Carrera Marble floor.  I honed it with 220, 400 and then polished with 800 resin pads.  It left swirl marks, not scratches.  Almost seems like there is a waxy or oily substance in the stone.  It has streaks like a teflon chair pad would leave.  Any suggestions.
