if it is aldon mexi glaze.you may be able to use that product to melt into the existing coating
possibly eliminating the scratches.You have to make sure it was the aldon stuff.That product uses mc as the carrier.It is awful to use but it may solve the problem.Do a test.
Another solution may be using some products from sparks southwest company.they have two products that might get you though this dress up and international finish.call them and explain your situation they are good on the phone.
