Hi. I looked at a new bathroom floor. The installers used sanded grout for the installation. In a number of tiles there is fine pitting that probably came from the installers wiping the excess grout off the surface of the tiles. Otherwise the polish is excellent and the tiles have no scratches. I think that just polishing may get much of it out but maybe not all of it. I want to do the least amount of honing and avoid pulling more sanded grout over the surface (there is a fair amount of clearance between the frot level and the tiled surface). Was wondering if anybody has an opinion on what level of honing may be needed to get those tiles looking great. For example, does honing above 800 grit only make sense?  Thanks for your input.
