Do some masking of close surfaces and cover the floor.

 Use waterless diamonds on a 3 inch driver, carful with the down pressure of the diamonds not to sand a bowl dip in it....

 Then hertrons marble polishing compound with hardly any moisture, polish till dry with white pad and 3 inch driver. Then wipe clean with a damp terry cloth towel a couple times.

We use a variable speed makita on #1 setting and if you slightly press the trigger you can keep the rpm low so you don't splatter the ceiling.
