All of the concrete sealers we’ve stripped have been water based. Aqua Mix Sealer & Coating Remover did the trick with a floor scrubber, stiff brush & splash guard. The Sealer & Coating Remover also does a good job of cleaning the grout. After stepping we use a heavy duty stone cleaner to remove any residue before neutralizing.

What is the easiest way to strip slate? I have a client that has some old slate in her foyer, from the seventies. It is multicolor and she has been using some concrete sealer thats makes it look shiney. It basically looke like a waxed floor.
