In many cases you can go in and clean with alkaline based cleaner then use steel wool and crystallizer and polish. If there are scratches you may need to hone , however I suggest you use some engineered stone diamonds from Alpha.

Also the engineered stone or the quartz crystals are scratching in most cases it is the resin used to hold the quartz. Therefore start high with the diamond grits. 

 

Note if the material is under warranty in most cases once you touch it you have voided the warranty from Silestone.

I'm going to look at a Silestone counter tomorrow. Customer says its in a rental property and is now pretty beaten on. Lacks consistency of finish. What can be done with this product and how do I do it ??
