It will not matter which one you use. Calcium bentonite is inert and it will not stain.

Hi partners,

the diatomaceous earth i bought in a 40 pound bag has calcium bontonite mixed
in with it. i mixed it with clear hydrogen peroxide 40 % by volume. this mixture
is very brown when mixed together. the food grade diatomaceous earth is pure white
does it matter which color de i use for a poultice. will the brown mix cause a stain
of its own??? anyone have any experiences with the brown de???
