They had the tile floor replaced about 4 years ago and she just noticed it about 6 months ago. The floor is in her daughters room and they had a large area rug covering the area. When she pulled up the area rug she noticed mold and a wet spot.
The house is about 17 years old.
So many questions come to mind to try to determine the reason for the water infiltration. Most likely destructive testing will reveal the answer or more clues. Did this just start occurring?I don't agree on installing anything over an existing moisture problem.Anyone performed any tests at all besides look at it?The sprinklers do not work. There are no leaks anywhere in the windows or the roof.

Hey builder that look at the job might think that the house is on a low water line and the moisture is coming from the ground.
