Yeah mike is right those white/ light colored granites are very porous.
They are tough to seal.
Will require several applications over period of days.

In June 2012 her contractor applied 2-3 coats of 511 sealer, by August the client was complaining of water and food stains. The contractor then cleaned it, wiped it down with acetone and applied 4 coats of Aqua Mix Sealer's Choice Gold. In November 2012 she had the same problems. Someone mentioned Meta Crème from Dry Treat but I'm not so sure it is a problem with the sealer, maybe the Granite is very porous. I haven't seen it in person yet.
