The removal of the glue will be determined based upon the type of glue that was used to glue down the carpet. I have seem carpet glue come up wirh using just hot water, other times you need stripper to remove .,

Recommend testing before taking or pricing job. Once the glue is removed then hone and polish if that is what the customer is looking for.
