Roger ,

What are the slip readings? Did you take any slip reading with a slip tester?

I have heard from s=customers before their floors are slippery but t=when are they slippery? Are they slippery when wet? If so then walk off mats would be a wise recommendation. If it is slippery all the time dry and wet then perhaps they are not cleaning the floor properly. If the floor is polished properly and maintained correctly the floor should not be slippery.

If the customer is wanting to apply a non –slip product Grout perfect make one that can be used on Terrazzo. Just make sure you use the proper dilution ratio. If you perform the non – slip application , be sure you give them the proper cleaning procedure to maintain the non-slip. If the floor is not maintained properly it could become slipper than before the treatment. Without proper cleaning the open pores in the terrazzo will collect the dirt , oils and other agents that block to open pores and now the surface is not slip resistant.

Subject: [sccpartners] Slippery

In a public area, they have terrazzo tiles. What product would work so as to help so it is not slippery?

Thanks,
