as long as the water isnt on the floor for very long it shouldnt be a problem
Fred could cleaning the floor cause more rust stains to show. I think the obvious answer is yes. What would be the best method to clean it if any?On Thu, Mar 21, 2013 at 1:48 PM, Fred Hueston <fhueston@gmail.com> wrote:yes it can have iron in it..the acid would attack the iron--On Thu, Mar 21, 2013 at 4:45 PM, Tony Warney <tony@excelstoneandtilecare.com> wrote:
I am doing a bid on a sand blasted basalt floor. The floor is about a year old. I noticed some brown areas on some of the tiles. The contractor said that they came that way but it cleans off with a slightly acid based cleaner. I am wondering does basalt have iron in it and could it show rust stains or dark stains after w clean it? Thanks Tony
