I looked at a black granite counter. It is 10 years old. It has a large dull spot that was a small spot and the installer tried to polish it and made it bigger and worse. There are dull spots all over the counter and along the edges. Also there is a spot that looks like the bottom of a large can that happened about a month ago. They had set a pot there over night. I pretty sure this is a resin impregnated slab ? is there any way to fix it or make it look better?
