This is pretty much the way I have stripped Mexican tile and have charged about the same. I know people get frustrated by Aldon, but I have used their premium stripper many times (a gel) and have recoated often with mexiglaze and a polymer topcoat. The whole thing is messy and stinks the process needs a lot of air. I always recommend that the owners stay somewhere else for a day or two. The mexiglaze dries quickly and, if there is good ventilation, it's not too bad. I have never seen epoxy on Mexican tiles so haven't had to remove any.
