We work with clearstone and while we like it alot-as with any coating there are pros and cons.
It is only as hard as a medium hard marble and wont take heat well.
It is easy to learn and will give you good results first time out of the box. Requires more tools and a different mindset to apply. The smell can be lessened using air filters.
We have worked with the vitremela as well-It has the potential to be a good product.
Vitremela is brand new and mike is right on-very hard to apply.

Does anyone know of a topical coating for bartops that is worth applying to protect against etching on onyx stone? I have seen some in the past that scratched easy and there was more time in reapplying it then there was honing and polishing out the etches.
