Roger ,

I agree with Stuart , high risk job verse the  reward. Time energy and what happens if there a problem with the material as you hone it flat. You are now holding the bag. I would recommend the installer replace it.

Roger-I wouldn't walk away from this job- I would fly! I will send you some of my miles if you need them.

Sure it could be done and yes you will need the right diamonds.

I thought alpha ex are for hand machines?

The grinding process will take a lot of water.

Its possible the product will pit and chip. The variations of engineered stone can be huge.

These folks bought this stuff because it is maintenance free. They may never be happy with the results.

You have to price it like granite-let them rip it out.

Unless someone walked on the floor after they set it how could it move-?

Seems like the risk of working this floor outweigh the profit.

Can quartz tiles (not natural but manufactured) be leveled? Installation in upscale house and the homeowner is not happy. Either it has to ground flat or replaced.

The next question, they claim that it installed level, covered up for construction. When uncovered it was no longer level. What are your thoughts?
