Baird-We have a minimum charge to go out after 5pm. So figure yours out and if you need to add to it because of size of the area then charge the minimum hourly rate you will work for a recurring client.

We include in the maintenance every month a 4th of it gets refinished and the other gets crystalized. Then the next month you refinish another 1/4th. At the end of the 4th service the whole area has been refinished and start all over.

Hope this helps

Hi. We have been asked to bid on Monthly marble maintenance of a Building lobby. Basically, the lobby has been maintained by monthly crystallization of the surface.  The management really doesn't understand the difference between crystallization and polishing, but they wanted to look exactly as it does now (crystallized).  There are some small areas that also need honing, but overall condition looks pretty good. We do not do a lot of regular monthly maintenance like this, So I am looking for basically the rate of production to maintain the floor with crystallization fluid (10 sf areas) and was also wondering if companies that do maintenance on a regular basis cut their margin below what is typical for restoration.  I would welcome any suggestions.  Thanks, Baird
