I agree with D Nicinski! Try a test area starting at 220 hone and go up to 400 then polish you should have great results!

Depending on scratch pattern you should start at least 220 or lower. I believe that if the scratches are so fine that you can hone them out with 400 there is no need to hone, 5X will remove them. Your floor will look as good as your first cut removing scratches
