We have been getting a number of stone floors especially travertine that have been waxed. We strip them first and then hone. Sometimes there will be some wax that you don,t see until the floor completely dries. I was wondering if putting a little bit of stripper in the water might help? Thanks TonyOn Thu, Jun 13, 2013 at 4:10 AM, John Freitag <jfreitag@thestoneandtileschool.com> wrote:No I haven’t wondering why you would want to?
If you are trying to strip and hone at the same time the stripper would probably coat over the honing powders and not have much if any cutting effect.
